The highest rainfall receives area in the state Karnataka is the town named Agumbe which is situated in the Shimoga district in Karnataka . In agumbe region , the rainfall receives an estimate value of around 7800 mm per year which is an highest in all Karnataka . Agumbe town is situated near the Udupi district on the Winward side of the western Ghats. This region is not only receives the highest rainfall in Karnataka but it is the region with the second most rainfall area in our country after Mawsynram region which is in the state Meghalaya and there rainfall receives an estimate value of around 11900 mm per year.

Agumbe is the place in Karnataka which receives highest rainfall. It is located in Shimoga district of Karnataka. It measures a rainfall nearly 6,311mm every year and people usually come to visit this place.

Agumbe which was present in shimong district which was present in Karnataka . By considering the rainfall the Karnataka rainfall was the highest rainfall . It was introduced in the year of 2017 and having the rainfall at the depth of 6311 mm.

AGUMBE , Shimoga district in Karnataka receives highest rainfall .It receives about 7800 mm per year .This town is near Udupi districk on the Winward side of western ghats. It not only receives highest rainfall in Karnataka but Second Highest in India after Mawsynram in Meghalaya around 11900 mm per year.
